New York Giants jersey updates: New numbers,...

The New York Giants have made a slew of roster changes since Saturday morning, ushering in several players while others were sent packing.

As the result of those transactions, several jersey numbers have changed, new numbers have been assigned and, just for good measure, the team also released their alternate jersey schedule — which is where we’ll begin.

The Giants will wear their home blue’s eight times this season, their road white’s seven times and their alternate jerseys just once — in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium.

Meanwhile, despite fellow quarterback Kyle Lauletta having been waived, rookie quarterback Daniel Jones remained No. 8 on Monday morning even though his college number — No. 17 — was made briefly available.

Cornerback Julian Love jumped at the chance to snake a new number however, switching from No. 37 to No. 24.

Brand new linebacker David Mayo, who was signed just prior to the start of practice, is wearing No. 55, while newly signed wide receiver Cody Core is wearing No. 17.

Finally, offensive tackle Eric Smith is wearing No. 79, tight end Eric Tomlinson No. 83 and practice squad players, cornerback Corn Elder and wide receiver Davis Sills, are wearing No. 35 and No. 84, respectively.
