Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys look to end a two-game skid vs the recently cleared Sam Darnold and the New York Jets on Sunday.

The Dallas Cowboys (3-2) will be looking to bounce back after a couple of rough losses against one of the AFC’s weakest teams; the New York Jets (0-4). Dallas was perhaps a little too high on themselves after defeating three of the NFL’s weaker teams in the first three weeks of the season.

The Cowboys’ first two true challenges this year have been near total failures, losing both in embarrassing fashion.

Against the New Orleans Saints, the defense was able to play a great game that was wasted by the offense’s inability to move the ball down the field or to score points. Last week, the Dallas’ defense was humiliated against a familiar rival in the Green Bay Packers, at home no less.

What’s possibly the hardest part to accept about both losses for Cowboys fans, is that both games were very winnable.

The Saints and Packers both did things well to limit Dallas on both sides of the ball, but the Cowboys beat themselves in both games with costly turnovers, bad penalties, or dropped passes that took points off the board.

Dallas has likely, and thankfully, been humbled by the challenges the last two weeks have provided, seeing a two-game lead in the NFC East evaporate before their very eyes.
