3 winners, 3 losers from Patriots' preseason win...

With the preseason over halfway finished now, here are three winners and three losers from the New England Patriots’ win over the Tennessee Titans.

Don’t look now, but the New England Patriots are one of just nine teams in the NFL with a perfect, unblemished record entering the third week of the season.

Granted, that “season” is only the preseason… but still.

All joking aside, Bill Belichick has got to be fairly satisfied with what he’s seen from his team in back-to-back wins this August. After annihilating the Detroit Lions in the first week of the preseason by a score of 31-3, the Patriots rallied to come from behind and steal a 22-17 victory on the road against the Tennessee Titans in the second week.

They now will return home to host the Carolina Panthers and then the New York Giants to close out the preseason. New England hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football to kick off the regular season, and that’s when all the fun will really begin.

In the meantime, now is the perfect opportunity to start drawing definitive conclusions with regards to the Patriots’ roster. Belichick will have to make a series of tough decisions in the coming weeks as the team narrows down its final 53-man list of game-day players. In fact, some of those tough decisions have already begun.

Here are three winners and three losers from this weekend’s clash against the Titans. The winners have most likely locked up their roster spots, whereas the losers will need to illustrate massive improvement between now and September if they still hope to save their jobs.
