For his impressive outing against the Cleveland Browns Week 6, Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson has been nominated for the NFL’s FedEx Ground Player of the Week.
Carson will be competing against Texans’ Carlos Hyde and Ravens’ signal-caller Lamar Jackson, the first quarterback to make the list as a Ground Player candidate.
In Cleveland, Carson finished the day with 24 carries for 124 yards and a rushing touchdown. He also posted four receptions for 35 yards.
After a shaky start to the season with a fumble lost in each of his first three games, Carson has now proven he is a trustworthy ball carrier. On the year, Carson has logged 504 yards on 118 attempts with two touchdowns on the ground and two through the air.
You can cast your vote for Carson as the FedEx Ground Player of the Week on the NFL’s website and social media channels, including the Twitter link posted above.
